At only 3.2kg, the CabrioFix i-Size is lightweight and super-easy to carry from home to car & back again.
The CabrioFix i-Size baby car seat fits most strollers.

Pairs with Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix i-Size base.
Yes, you may install the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix i-Size onto the CabrioFix i-Size Base on the front passenger seat if that seat has ISOFIX anchor points. VERY IMPORTANT to make sure that the airbag has been deactivated. Most cars do not have ISOFIX anchorages in the front passenger seat.
Yes you can install the CabrioFix i-Size by the car seat belt. Please follow the instructions in the user manual or on the product carefully for a secure installation.
The CabrioFix i-Size only fits in combination with the CabrioFix i-Size Base or the Tinca ISOFIX Base.
Yes you can wash both the baby-hugg inlay and the cover of the CabrioFix i-Size in your washing machine at a maximum of 30 degrees and using a delicate washing program.
The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix i-Size fits on all compatible Maxi-Cosi and Quinny stroller frames and a wide range of other stroller brands.
The height of the safety harness can easily be adjusted from the back of the CabrioFix i-Size. Just pull the webbing through the opening in the cover and shell and pull it again throught the higher/lower position.
You can remove the CabrioFix i-Size from a stroller by pushing simultaneously on two grey buttons that are located just next to the carrying handle on the side of the car seat and pulling the seat in an upward direction. Please make sure you always place the car seat rearward facing and not forward facing on the stroller. In combination with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny the CabrioFix i-Size is very easy to release with one hand thanks to the memory buttons.
i-Size (R129) is a new legislation that aims to make car seats even safer than before. i-Size (R129) car seats offer ISOFIX installation, rearward facing travelling up to at least 15 months, and improved safety standards for additional protection for head and neck. The baby-hugg inlay is especially developed to offer additional comfort and safety for newborn babies. A baby outgrows the baby-hugg inlay on average when he/she is taller than 60 cm. You can consequently remove this inlay from the CabrioFix i-Size and use it without.
In i-Size (R129) child car seats are classified in a length size range, but the legislation also requires to indicate a maximum weight of the baby. The CabrioFix i-Size is suitable for babies from 45 cm until 75 cm. The 12kg weight limit on the CabrioFix i-Size refers to the 95 percentile weight of a child of 75 cm. This means that only 5% of the children will be over 12kg weight by the time they reach 75 cm.

The hard parts and the harness webbing can be cleaned using a wet cloth.
During the development of CabrioFix i-Size we used some of the existing and therefore proven components from other products like Pebble Pro and Tinca in order to build this car seat. In other products these hooks are there to connect the sun canopy to. As the sun canopy of the CabrioFix i-Size is a self-standing variant, these hooks don't have a function for CabrioFix i-Size.
CabrioFix i-Size allows babies from birth up to approximately 1 year of age. As this car seat has a lifespan for an intensive use of approximately 6 years, this means that it is possible to use CabrioFix i-Size for 6 different babies on a daily basis.
